An Italian joins the crew!

Auteur(s) de l'article

I wasn’t sure of which language to use to write this post. I’ve lived most of my life in Italy, but I relocated one year ago to Canton Zug, in a small town between Lucerne and Zürich, for family reasons. I’m taking German lessons since when I moved to Switzerland and I’ve been studying French at school for seven years (and despite that, unfortunately I don’t remember so much)!
Anyway, at the end I picked English to proudly announce that I joined the developers team of Antistatique from the beginning of this year and I’m the first remote employee!
After some years in consultancy companies and media agencies, in the last 3 years I’ve been a freelance PHP developer, focused on Symfony2 framework, for which last year I’ve been awarded as a SensioLabs Certified Symfony Developer, TDD and Agile methodologies. I still enjoy being an independent contractor, but I was really missing a team to work with.
Apart from tech life, I am a rugby player in the Zug Rugby Club and a travel addicted. As a good Italian cliché, I also enjoy cooking (pizza and risotto are my specialities)!
Oh… And in March I will become the second father at Antistatique!
Since I will be once a month in the office in Lausanne, I’m looking forward to meeting you all!
