A new website for the Théodora Foundation

The Théodora Foundation was created in 1993 with a mission: to offer moments of laughter and escape to hospitalized children or children with disabilities.
To achieve this, the Foundation funds and organizes weekly visits of professional artists, called Dream Doctors, to hospitals and specialized institutions in Switzerland.
Research and transcription of the Foundation's universe
Visually, the universe of the Théodora Foundation is characterized by bright colors and soft, rounded shapes. The challenge was to find a balance between the existing graphic charter and the desire to modernize and convey optimism through the website.
Offering laughter through the benevolent gaze of the Dream Doctors
Throughout the site, we find a strong sense of positivity through the bright colors of the graphic design, as well as through animations and bold graphic choices.
The soft, rounded shapes of certain components are contrasted by more angular elements, reflecting the Foundation's essence: the young patients are in a gentle and caring atmosphere, surrounded by professionals.
The benevolent gaze of the Dream Doctors on the children also holds an important place, particularly in the visuals. These are highlighted to accurately represent the context.
Component boards
Several countries, one single image
The foundation is present in many countries, and a WordPress theme has been developed to allow all these entities to share the same image and the same set of features. All this without limiting the ability to integrate the specific characteristics of each site and to activate certain elements on demand.
The power of WordPress content editing also allows for complete independence in page composition. Therefore, the writing and formatting of content are left free for each country.
